Members shall be general members, founder members, life members and honorary member.

The privileges of the members

To attend the society’s meetings. To receive publications, communications and proceedings of the society, if any. To exercise voting right and to contest for office at the executive body. Honorary members shall enjoy all the privileges of the general members except a vote at meetings and eligibility for office.

Subscription

Members who have not paid their subscription for two consecutive years shall cease to be members until the subscription has been paid. Honorary members shall pay no subscription.

About BRS

The Bangladesh Rheumatology Society was established in 28th April 1997. The Physician and Surgeons of Bangladesh who are engaged in treating different Rheumatic conditions were the founder of this society. This society arrange biannually National conference on Rheumatology with the participation of National and International speakers, observes different International Rheumatic days, arrange seminar and symposium to ensure evidence based practice. The first international conference was held in 1998. The renowned Rheumatologist of home and abroad participate in the international conferences. BRS is one of the member of APLAR and maintain a close relationship with other international rheumatic societies.
