About APLAR 2018
The 20th APLAR Congress will be held from 6-9 September 2018 at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Centre, Taiwan. APLAR 2018 will provide clinical information and be a forum for the exchange of cutting-edge scientific research. We invite delegates who are seeking to network with their peers and navigate the various challenges facing them in refining the health outcomes for patients with rheumatological conditions across the region.

The congress will feature an exhibition where the latest industry advances can be discussed with senior representatives from a variety of organisations. Additional learning opportunities will be available in workshops and symposia.

APLAR, The Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology, was established in 1963 in Sydney. What began with four founding nations has now increased in scale to include 30 national rheumatology association members. The geographical region covered by APLAR reaches from New Zealand in Oceania to Jordan in the Middle East.

APLAR strives to propagate and consolidate Rheumatology endeavours in the Asia Pacific region. Towards this end the APLAR publishes a journal, the APLAR Journal of Rheumatology. The premier meeting organized by the APLAR every year is the APLAR Congress which brings together rheumatologists, internists, orthopedic surgeons, clinical immunologists, physiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, pediatricians and researchers from allied disciplines on a common platform so as to provide the best forum in the region for deliberations on all aspects of musculoskeletal diseases.
